Questions

Answers Before
Your First Visit

Here is what people ask me most. If your question is not here, send me a note from the contact page.

01

Booking and Visits

Pick a service and an open time online, any hour of the day. I ask for 48 hours notice if you need to cancel, since a last-minute opening is hard to fill.

Yes. I am welcoming new clients of every age, and I am especially glad to see anyone dealing with thinning hair.

Yes. Send me a note from the contact page and I will get back to you between clients.

You pay at the salon after your visit. Ask me about pricing when you book, since a cut, a color, and a scalp treatment all take different amounts of time.

Hair Loss Care

I start with a look at your scalp and a conversation about what changed. Depending on what I find, that can lead to scalp microneedling, a scalp exfoliation, or a regrowth program using product lines I have watched work on my own clients. I track progress with weekly photos.

Thinning from stress, cancer treatment, medication, and more and more from GLP-1 use. Each one needs a different plan, so we start with your scalp and your story.

Hair grows in phases: an active growth phase, a resting phase in the middle, and a phase where the hair is done. Microneedling works on that middle phase to keep the follicles healthier. Results are different for everyone, and I will tell you honestly what I am seeing.

I take photos all the way around your head every week, so we can both see what is changing over time.

Product buildup clogs the scalp, and so does a hat that never gets washed. A clean, healthy scalp is where good hair starts. And yes, wash your hat.

03

Cut and Color

A cut shaped around your natural texture, so your hair moves the way it wants to and grows out well.

Color placed for depth and movement that blends softly as it grows, so the grow-out looks natural.

Yes. I can soften your gray or help you grow into it, whichever you prefer.

I work there as an independent stylist. Remedy Salon is a small shop with four stylists, and I run my own book.

Yes. The salon is LGBTQ friendly and a safe place for the trans community, and everyone gets the same care.
