Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of janereadysalon.com (the “Site”) and the hair services provided by Jane Ready at Remedy Salon (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or booking a service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

We provide cutting, color, styling, and scalp care services at Remedy Salon in Lincoln, Nebraska. Service descriptions, lengths, and starting prices on the Site are a general guide. We will talk through what you want before we begin.

2. Prices

Prices on the Site are starting prices. The final price can depend on your hair’s length, thickness, and condition, and on the products and time the service takes. If the price will be higher than the starting price, we will tell you before we begin.

3. Booking, cancellations, and late arrivals

• You can book through the Site, by phone, or by text. A booking made on the Site is confirmed by email.
• Please give at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or move an appointment, since a last-minute opening is hard to fill.
• If you arrive late, we may need to shorten the service or move it to another time so the next client is not kept waiting.

4. Your health and safety

• Tell us about any allergies, skin or scalp conditions, medications, or medical treatments before your service. Some of these affect which color or scalp services are safe for you.
• A patch or strand test may be needed before a color service. We may decline or postpone a service if we believe it is not safe.
• Scalp care services are cosmetic. They are not medical treatment and do not replace advice from your doctor or dermatologist.

5. Payment

Payment is due at the salon when your service is complete. We accept the payment methods listed at the time of booking.

6. Results and satisfaction

Every head of hair is different, and results depend on your hair’s starting condition, history, and home care. We do not promise a specific outcome, including any amount of hair regrowth. If you are unhappy with a service, contact us within 7 days and we will talk it through and look for a fair fix.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by the law of the State of Nebraska, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

8. Photos

With your permission, we may take before-and-after or progress photos of your hair and scalp. We share photos on the Site or social media only with your written consent, and we never include your name without it.

9. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Lancaster County, Nebraska.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site or our services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
